Operation Care for Troops

Dear PWS Families, Once again, PWS is proud to assist Operation Care for Troops in its efforts to support our New Hampshire troops by collecting items for holiday care packages.  As of last year Operation Care for Troops (octnh.org) had shipped over 70,000 packages to members of the United States armed services stationed around the world and stateside, retired veterans residing at the Tilton Retirement Home, local veterans homes in NH, as well as hospitalized veterans at Bethesda Medical Center in Washington, DC.   If you would like to contribute to the packages that are sent to our United States service men and women, please send in any of the items on the list below on the specified day.  There will be a collection bin in the foyer.  Just look for the stars and stripes!  PWS staff members will be taking the donations and helping to sort and pack at the OCTNH packing event on November 10. 2016 Halloween Parade

Image
We are very excited about our Annual Halloween Parade. This is a very special event at Peter Woodbury. This year, the event is planned to kick off on Monday at 1:30 (Morning Kindergarteners will have their own parade at 10:15). Students are encouraged to bring their costumes to school. They will have an opportunity to change into them before the parade starts. We ask that if the costume involves any pieces that could be considered a weapon or weapon like that they please leave those pieces at home. We look forward to the many wonderful costumes that we are sure to see this Monday.
