Destination Imagination Info Night

Destination Imagination Info Night for K-8 will be held on Tuesday, September 25th at 7PM in Room 17 of McKelvie Intermediate School.  This is for all new parents who are interested in hearing more about the program.  Returning families can register their children  here . Registration closes on Friday, October 5th, 2018. Destination Imagination is an extra curricular that relies on parent volunteers.  There is no guarantee that your child will be placed on a team, but we work very hard to place every child who registers.  For more info on this wonderful program offered by our district, please check out  www.nh-di.org  or contact our coordinator, Marie Russell at  bedfordrocksdi@gmail.com .

Change to Open House

Peter Woodbury's Open House is on Thursday, September 20th. This year, Mrs. Daley and Mr. Mitchell are asking to meet with parents in the multi-purpose room from 6:15pm-6:45pm. During this time they will discuss Responsive Classroom, student independence, communication, homework and school rules. Any other children should stay with their parents in the multi-purpose room.  Parents and students in grades K-2 can visit their classroom and teacher anytime between 5:30pm-6:15pm (prior to meeting with the principals). Parents and students in grades 3-4 can visit their classroom and teacher anytime between 6:45pm-7:30pm (after meeting with the principals).  We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, Septem...

Community School Yard

This is our tenth year anniversary of the PWS Community School Yard! We will be working hard to prepare for new garden beds and plantings around the school property. School Yard Spruce UP Our Daly Garden and school yard are in need of an update.  The beds will be reconfigured in the spring in honor of our anniversary, the cottage needs to be painted, loam needs to be moved, shrubs planted, and other projects. If you have a tractor or BobCat that could assist in the heavy lifting and movement of loam it would be appreciated. Please plan to join us  Sunday, October 14  for a day of community!   The school yard was created through private funding and grants, and the wonderful collaboration of teachers, parents, and community members.  It is the only School Yard of its kind in New England. We look forward to your help in sustaining it. Watch for more information regarding times. Please contact Mrs. Beltramo ( beltramom@sau25.net ) if can help wi...

Thank you to Mrs. Gibbons and her kitchen staff for always preparing healthy foods for our students and to the Garden Club for helping our garden grow!
