PWS prides itself with diversity and we are excited to hang the country flags of all the PWS families at our Family Olympic Games.  Please send in your flag no later than  Tuesday, February 6th .  Your flag should be on a regular size sheet of white paper (8.5x11) and either printed or colored with crayon/markers.  Your family name should be in the center, along with the country.  All flags will be hung in the PWS hallways for Family Fun Night.  We will be needing lots of USA flags too. If your family cannot attend our Family Olympics, we would still love to hang your flag.  If anyone has any questions, please email Mrs. Russell,  russellm@ bedfordnhk12.net .   Mrs. Russell's flag is pictured below.

Family Fun Night Orders will be coming home with students this week. You can also print your own copy off from this link . 

It will soon be time to register Kindergarten and First Grade students for the 2018–2019 school year.  Registration packets can be picked up at your appropriate school beginning February 6th between 7:15 am and 3:15 pm beginning February 5th. Completed forms, along with your child’s birth certificate, two (2) proofs of residency, a current copy of your child’s physical and immunizations can be returned to the appropriate elementary school March 2nd-8th (excluding Saturday and Sunday).  A child must attain his/her fifth birthday on or before September 30th, 2018 to be eligible for kindergarten. A child must attain his/her sixth birthday on or before September 30th,  2018 to be eligible for first grade.  New Hampshire law requires all new students to present an up-to-date record of immunizations upon admission to school. January 19, 2018 marks the end of the 2nd quarter of school.  As of January 12, 2018 the Power School parent portal will be closed so teachers can enter grades. The portal will reopen at the end of the day January 26th, at which time parents will be able to view report cards and comments. As a reminder, paper copies of report cards are not sent home with students. A copy can printed from the parent portal. If you still need to set up access to your PowerSchool parent portal, please contact the main office for the proper information.

Order forms for the Family Fun Night t-shirts are going home with students. You can also print one from right here.  Orders are due back no later than Friday, January 19th.
