On Thursday, April 6th at 6:00pm in the Bedford High School Theater, Janelle Hofman will be giving a presentation to the Bedford community on her book iRules . This presentation will provide support for families who are looking for ways to handle cell phones, etc.

PTG Scholastic Happy Camper Book Fair

The PTG Book Fair will be at Peter Woodbury School April 3rd -6th. We will be open Monday/Thursday until 6:00pm and Tuesday/Wednesday until 3:30pm in the main lobby of the school.    All students will have an opportunity to preview the book fair during the week with their class and create a "wish list" of books they like.  Parents are welcome any time during fair hours to come shop for great books. There will also be a staff "wish list" display at the fair.  If a parent/student wants to purchase and donate a book to a teacher’s classroom or any staff member they can do so at the fair. We look forward to seeing you at the Fair!

Jump Rope for Heart

IT TAKES HEART TO BE A HERO! Our 4th annual Jump Rope for Heart event will take place  during the month of March .  Students will learn heart healthy habits, risk factors for heart disease, how to help the community and practice many jumping skills.     Last year 2015-2016 Peter Woodbury School raised $17144 for the American Heart Association!  Thank you for all your generous donations!  Our new goal this year is to reach 17,500.   Our Jump Rope for Heart event kicked off this week in Physical Education class with a little video about a Heart Hero, Michael, who is 8 years old and was born with a heart condition. Thanks to the kids who have raised donations for the American Heart Association in the past Michael was able to have surgery to help his heart.  This week in Physical Education class we discussed heart disease to help students understand why they are raising money for the American Heart Association.  Collection envelopes are going home this week March 6-10 and m
