Meet & Greet 2021-2022 School Year

Image
August is upon us which means the custodial staff at PWS will be working even harder to have the building ready for the staff and students on August 26, 2021 (first day of school!). We will be holding our annual Meet & Greet, in person, on August 25, 2021 this year. Meet & Greet is an opportunity for students and families to come into the building to meet their teacher, see their classroom, and drop off any school supplies they may not want to bring in on the first day of school. A couple things to note:  Don't worry if your child doesn't have school supplies by the first day, your teacher will have your student covered until you can obtain them. You can stay for as long or as little as you want during your time frame since this is an informal meet up. This year's Meet & Greet is scheduled differently than previous years (hooray for easier parking!).  Students whose last names begin with A-K are welcome to come in any time from 1:20-2:15pm on August 25, 2021. STEAM Challenge Kits

PWS was awarded a $3500 grant by an anonymous donor. Mrs. Cassamassino and Mrs. Speaker have planned monthly STEAM Challenge Kits for every student at PWS. With the help of Mrs. Eldridge in the main office these kits will be distributed each month (February, March and April). While these are optional activities we hope that your family has fun with the challenges these kits provide you. The first kit your child will receive over the next week is a simple deck of cards.
