2017 Peter Woodbury School Annual Food Drive

Dear Parents, During this time of year we are increasingly aware of how fortunate we are to have good friends, loving families, a place to call home, and food to eat. Unfortunately, we know that so many in our community are not as fortunate, and we feel that there is something we can do to help. Since we know that food banks are always in need of food, Peter Woodbury is holding a food drive for the New Hampshire Food Bank, as well as the Bedford Community Food Pantry. This year, we will partner with the Bedford Community Food Pantry in providing food for their School Lunch+ program.  This provides backpacks on Fridays with food for students over the weekend.  Every other month, our school will collect one particular item for this program.  This month, we are kicking it off by collecting juice.  ( Bedford Community Food Pantry- School Lunch+ ) Students can start bringing in canned goods, dry goods, and any other non- perishable food items this Friday. The Wall of Heroes is up at Peter Woodbury. Mrs. Beltramo, once again, has done an outstanding job of helping us recognize the veterans in the lives of our Peter Woodbury family. Please take a stroll down the hallway when you are here to remember and honor our veterans. We would also like to invite any veterans in the Bedford community to come to PWS and view the Wall of Heroes.
