PWS Land Art

While we would all rather be together during this time, we understand why we can't be and are making the best of it for ourselves and our students. This is another amazing project put together by our art teacher, Mrs. Piantedosi. Using the Earth to make art .

Google Meet During Remote Learning

As we continue to progress with the newness of remote learning, it is helpful to stay in contact and keep communication open. Google Meet allows educators and students to meet live with a whole-class, in small groups, and in one-to-one meetings. Please find the  Google Meet Expectations  in the link. We strive to provide the best possible education and support for our students, while maintaining the privacy within each home. We are respectfully requesting that, if possible, when your child meets in small groups or one-to-one with an educator, that those meetings take place in a public part of your home. We thank you for your consideration as we continue to support students in productive learning environments.

Survey for Parents - due by Sunday, March 15th

Dear Parents, Our school is taking a proactive approach to planning for the potential of remote learning due to COVID-19. If you have students in both McKelvie and Peter Woodbury Schools you may receive this e-mail more than once. Would you please take the time to complete the survey for any of your students in grades first through sixth grade. We want to ensure we're equipped to temporarily switch to remote learning if we are instructed to close.  Please complete one survey form for EACH CHILD that attends grades 1-6 in the Bedford School District by Sunday, March 15. https://forms.gle/Bb1LaxdmyAC9aUoF9

Mrs. Ewing, our school nurse, found an age appropriate comic for students about the new coronavirus. While we are not talking about this with our classes as a whole at school you may find yourself presented with some difficult questions at home from your children. Please use this resource as you see fit for your family.  Click on the image for the link to the comic
