2017-2018 Kindergarten & 1st Grade Registration
It will soon be time to register Kindergarten and First Grade students for the 2017–2018 school year.
Registration packets can be picked up at your appropriate school beginning February 6th between 7:15 am and 3:15 pm beginning February 6th. Completed forms, along with your child’s birth certificate, two (2) proofs of residency, a current copy of your child’s physical and immunizations can be returned to the appropriate elementary school March 3rd-9th (excluding Saturday and Sunday).
A child must attain his/her fifth birthday on or before September 30th, 2017 to be eligible for kindergarten. A child must attain his/her sixth birthday on or before September 30th, 2017 to be eligible for first grade.
New Hampshire law requires all new students to present an up-to-date record of immunizations upon admission to school. In addition, record of a physical exam, done no more than one year prior to entrance, is required. Each of the three elementary schools provide a fee based extended day Kindergarten program. Information about this program is available at the district website www.sau25.net. Please keep in mind the K+ program is done through a lottery system and notifications will take place on March 10th.
